Stump Removal & Grinding
One of the most important and often neglected part of tree removal is the stump. This is because it is an arduous process and if not done properly by a professional, stump removal can take a toll on you and the quality of your soil. Stump removal can be done in three ways:
- Stump Extraction
- Chemical Stump Removal
- Stump Grinding
Stump extraction involves excavation and ripping the stump out along with the root system under the soil. It is not advisable for bigger trees as the roots may run beyond the width of the canopy. It could also severely damage the health of the soil, trees and shrubs around them. Chemical poisoning is also not an advisable method, especially for residential properties. While this kills the stump and the roots and restricts continued growth, it can also cause permanent damage to any plant life surrounding it and affect the mineral balance of your soil.
Stump grinding is the safest bet when it comes to stump removal. We use high-quality equipment to grind your stump down to ground-level or even below the soil. The mechanical equipment is fitted with a metal blade with tungsten teeth to carry-out the grinding. The roots are cut off from the stump to stop further growth. This method does not remove the roots but prevents any damage to your property.
Vegetation Control
